The Tech Expo is Idaho’s largest hands-on career and technical education showcase, bringing together students, educators, and industry professionals from across the state. It’s an engaging way for students to discover how ISU’s programs connect directly to high-demand careers and meaningful futures.

Last week, our South Fremont High School Juniors attended Higher Ed Day hosted by BYU–Idaho! Students explored 10 Idaho colleges, met with college reps, and learned about programs of study and extracurricular opportunities. A huge thank you to Mrs. Clark for organizing this amazing experience for our students.

Assistant Track & Field Coach (Throws or Sprints)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Track & Field Coach for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching throwing events (shot put, discus, javelin) or sprinting events.
Responsibilities include:
Coaching and developing student-athletes
Assisting with practice planning and meet preparation
Promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety
Supporting the head coach and overall program
Qualifications:
Knowledge of throwing events or sprint training
Ability to work positively with student-athletes
Coaching experience preferred (but not required)
This is a great opportunity for a teacher, former athlete, or community member interested in working with student-athletes.

📍 BYU–Idaho (BYUI) 📅 February 4, 2026, Wednesday
🚌 Depart: 8:45 AM 🕧 Return: Approximately 12:30 PM
Students will have the opportunity to hear directly from multiple colleges and universities from Idaho and Utah. This is a great chance to learn about programs, admissions, and campus life.

A signed parent permission slip is required. Turn into Mrs. Clark by February 3rd.

Mrs. Hammond's Hospitality and Tourism class was given an amazing opportunity to visit the newest restaurant in town. Soulfly Pizza was amazing to give us a tour and talk to us about starting up a new restaurant. The pizza and wings were also a huge hit! Thank you to the owners, Jennifer and Josh for an amazing day!
